Important Compatibility Notice

R-410A operates at substantially higher pressure than R-22 and must only be used with equipment, cylinders, gauges, hoses, recovery machines, and service tools rated for R-410A pressures. It is not a direct drop-in refrigerant for R-22 systems and must not be mixed with R-22 or any other refrigerant.

Existing Equipment and New-System Restrictions

R-410A remains available for servicing and repairing existing compatible equipment. Federal and state requirements may restrict the installation of certain new higher-GWP air-conditioning and heat-pump systems. The purchaser and installer are responsible for confirming that the intended application complies with all current requirements.

Certification Requirement

An appropriate EPA Section 608 technician certification, or qualifying employer documentation, is required for purchase. Purchaser documentation may be reviewed before the product is released for shipment.

For professional use only. Charge R-410A from the liquid phase using approved procedures to maintain blend composition. Do not overfill equipment or cylinders. Follow all applicable recovery, handling, storage, transportation, and equipment-manufacturer requirements. Intentional venting is prohibited. Review the applicable Safety Data Sheet before use.
